Deekeling Arndt Think Tank
The Deekeling Arndt Think Tank is an interdisciplinary platform that develops and supports strategy and innovation projects at corporations and institutions. The think tank draws on a network of international academics and designers to offer clients expertise, stimulation and creativity for developing, shaping and communicating strategies and innovations.
It focuses on:
Expertise
Interdisciplinary academic angle: What current academic and research findings can be used for the project?
Stimulation
International market angle: Which markets and market players can we learn from? And how can we stimulate the management team’s entrepreneurial imagination?
Creativity
Integrated communication angle: How should the project be handled creatively to communicate the competitive edge offered by strategy and innovation both within the organisation and beyond?
The Deekeling Arndt Think Tank takes a cross-divisional, interdisciplinary approach to projects.
It is managed by Professor Rainer Zimmermann, a senior advisor at DAA who also teaches communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. He is supported by a board of academic trustees.
In February 2011, Campus Verlag published ‘Das Strategiebuch – 72 Grundfiguren strategischen Handelns für Wirtschaft, Politik, Kommunikation, Design, Architektur und Alltag’ (The Strategy Book – 72 Basic Strategic Moves for Business, Politics, Communication, Design, Architecture and Everyday Life) by the Deekeling Arndt Think Tank.
